Welcome to Laya Coffee Diliman, a cozy coffee shop nestled in the bustling streets of Quezon City, specifically at the corner of 151 Roces and J.P. Laurel. This local gem stands out not just for its inviting atmosphere but also for its commitment to providing affordable, high-quality coffee that caters to the diverse tastes of its customers.

The true essence of Laya Coffee is captured in the reviews of its patrons. Customer 'Salba Bida' perfectly encapsulates its appeal, stating, “Good coffee and affordable.” This sentiment resonates throughout the community, especially among the vibrant cycling crowd who often make a pit stop here. Whether you're grabbing a quick takeaway or enjoying a relaxed moment at the bench seating, Laya Coffee provides an inviting space for quick hangouts with friends or a much-needed caffeine fix on the go.

As you step inside, the delightful aroma of freshly brewed coffee wafts through the air, promising warmth and comfort. The offerings rotate, showcasing local brewers and ensuring there's always something fresh to savor. According to 'Oliver Pe,' "The coffee is priced at a very affordable range," which encourages coffee lovers to explore various brews without breaking the bank. The owner’s passion shines through as he engages with customers, creating a familiar and down-to-earth vibe that feels like visiting a friend rather than just another coffee shop.

If you're curious about what to order, consider trying their cold Americano, a favorite among regulars for its invigorating kick. As 'Rei Perucho' discovered, their unique lineup includes refreshing options like Horchata, which pairs exquisitely with coffee for those hot Manila days.

A worthy note for prospective visitors is the minor inconvenience of parking – as 'Liseth Regilme' noted, it can be challenging. But do take the stroll from a nearby spot; the moment you enter Laya Coffee, you'll realize it was well worth the effort. With a welcoming atmosphere and friendly service, it’s not just about the coffee; it's about the experience.

In the heart of the State University neighborhood, Laya Coffee Diliman is more than just a coffee shop; it’s a community hub where people gather to share stories and passions over a cup of expertly brewed coffee. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, make sure you stop in for a taste of what makes this cozy coffee haven a must-visit!

Good coffee and affordable. Simple and straight, they don't offer frappe but if you're on the go this is a great stop over. Cyclists often stay here, good place for quick hangout. If you wanna get pumped, get a cold americano. Owner is a cool dude.

Their coffee is very affordable. As a coffee lover, their coffee was just right. The only problem is they don’t have parking, so we had to park far away, but the walk was worth it.

Local kape / coffee joint that is getting a cult following from those who often visit the State Uni neighborhood. The coffee is priced at a very affordable range and rotates its offerings from various local brewers. The beans are well picked to match the type if drink you order as well as the brewing style. Service is informal and prompt with a stall style set up. The matching bench seating layout gives it all the more that local vibe which can be crowded especially by the biking community.

Only happened to find this cafe by chance when we saw a couple of kids with the Laya coffee cup in hand during a day of walking in the UP campus. We tried the Horchata and its dirty version (with coffee) and both are really good. A great way to refresh while enjoying a walk and tour of the UP campus under the usually hot, humid Manila weather.
